- Final Project: Choose
One--Due Monday December 8
- Oral Presentation.
This should be done in the style of a very short 10-minute conference
presentation. PowerPoint is OK, but a software demo is not. Your visual
aids should support the your presentation, but they shouldn't be the
entire content.
- Project Report.
A Paper up to 3 pages long plus graphic appendices (maps), in the style
of an executive summary. This isn't much room, so you'll need to be clear
and concise.
- Web site.
A series of web pages describing what you've done and showing the
results. Live maps are best in this medium.
- Custom GIS project.
This must have a user interface designed for novices. It should be more
than an assemblage of the ArcView documents you used to create the
project, and include functionality not available with the other three
project types above.

Note: taking this class Credit/No Credit is
strongly recommended, especially for professionals with unpredictable work
obligations.
