CIRGIS members and other holders of geographic data receive help in the creation of their metadata via a Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) grant. As of May, 2004, hundreds of datasets have been documented with listings posted on the California Environmental Information Catalog. Check out the Collaborating Catalogs to see what data has been created in our region.
